The program
Lasting approximately 18 months, a Specialized Associate Degree in Fashion Design and Technology offers 96 quarter credits that spotlight both general education and fashion courses.
What you'll learn
Our Specialized Associate Degree provides a fundamental grounding in fashion design and technology, including an introduction to design theory, fashion history, and apparel production. While course requirements vary for a passing grade, in general, students are required to take a midterm and final, complete homework assignments, and demonstrate proficiency in apparel design.

Elective track in Costume Design
he elective track in Costume Design gives Fashion Design & Technology Degree students the option to create theater costumes for historical plays, musicals and/or contemporary dramas.
