Passport to Style

Passport to Style is a non-profit scholarship program sponsored by Fashion Group International, San Diego. The program gives emerging fashion designers an opportunity to gain exposure by showcasing their work in one of 15 local boutiques. The San Diego community visited each boutique to cast their vote during the week of September 5 – September 13, 2008. The top three designers who received the highest ratings were awarded several thousand dollars in scholarship monies to continue their education and launch their career. All profits from the Passport to Style program will go back to FGI's scholarship fund.

Fashion Careers College students always shine bright in the fashion community. We are proud to say that out of eleven designers from this event, six were FCC students and graduates! The second place winner was FCC graduate, Brooke Mrdjenovich. She took home a scholarship prize of $1,800.00. You can buy Brooke’s designs online at www.bcatthreads.com. Congratulations Brooke! The College is so proud of your accomplishments.
