Position Description - As a professor, Silvana role is to teach and prepare classes. Her responsibilities include developing and presenting theoretical and practical course plans. She is also involved in representing the school to the industry and students. She continuously researches the industry.

Background Info - Silvana obtained her Bachelor’s Degree (majoring in Marketing and Management Information Systems) from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Has over 16 years of work experience in the Fashion Industry. Started her career as Assistant Buyer with "The Yellow Footwear Group"...footwear retailer with 500 stores. Was promoted to Senior Buyer/Product developer where she worked with factories in Italy, Brazil and Asia. In 1996 became Senior Buyer/Product Developer for La Senza Lingerie...an international lingerie retailer with over 350 stores across the world. Has taught in class and online for LaSalle Fashion College (in French and English). Has lectured and given seminars on the fashion industry to companies in Canada and the USA.
